CarTell.tv Video Presenter

I’m an open minded fun sort of person, and I try to bring that idea of fun, energy, and excitement to the way I review cars. Put it this way, I’m the youngest out of the CarTell.tv presenters and even though I may be a little ‘green’ when it comes to cars, I still know what makes them fun to drive. For my reviews, I like to focus on the performance of a car from a sporty perspective.

My First Car

My first car (the car I still currently drive) is a 2009 Mazda 2 Neo, I love it, it’s so fuel efficient and looks pretty cute too!

What do you drive now?

I do from time to time (when he lets me) drive my brothers R33 GTR V spec! Now that is a powerful car, it’s got 406 KW at the wheels! His love of speed and cars is what triggered mine!

What car did you go on your first date in?

This date was a total failure! He picked me up in a white commodore (I think) and was taking me to a winery for lunch! About half way there his car broke down and we had to get his dad to come and pick us up! Let it be known he didn’t get a second date!

Your dream car?

A dream car for me would be the Volkswagen Golf R (probably in metallic blue) I love a bit of power and for a small car this sure knows how to boost!

The i30 Active Diesel was a great car in its class when Tara reviewed it, but the 2017 Hyundai i30 SR Turbo is on a whole new level, with its revised suspension, lighter and more rigid chassis and a wonderful 1.6 l turbo engine familiar from the Elantra. It is a punchy machine, but Hyundai promises the i30 N by the end of the year and that one is supposed to be even sportier.

2017 Subaru BRZ Review

After reviewing the top of the range Toyota 86 GTS, we hopped into the 2017 Subaru BRZ. They are very similar and even though the GTS is just a bit better, the BRZ seems like the most sensible choice having in mind the price difference. You get basically the same car for noticeably less money.
