In this video Simone reviews the new Subaru XV and despite looking similar to the outgoing model, this 2017 / 2018 model actually has raised the bar in terms of features and the interior.
For example, taillights and the front bumper are a bit different. However, these changes serve a practical purpose, rather than a design one – they improve aerodynamics. The headlights are a bit more modern and the grille is darkened.

In terms of the engine, the new XV has a four-cylinder boxer engine which is different than the one in the previous model but not much more powerful. It’s a 2.0 l with 115 kW and 196 Nm of torque. It’s paired with a CVT and it consumes 7 litres of fuel per 100 km.
