HERE’S something special for Fiat fans: A special edition 60th Anniversary series is heading for Australia and first deliveries of the cute cabrio will start in March.
The limited edition pays tribute to the original Fiat 500 through classic styling cues and distinctive colours.
It has a vinyl dashboard, a vintage logo on the front, a chrome finish on the bonnet and aesthetic details like the chrome mirror caps, special 16-inch lightweight alloy wheel rims and a dedicated logo: 560.
The badge badge adorns the door pillar and also appears on the chrome sill and the numbered limited edition nameplate.
It also has unique dual-colour body paintwork – a three-layer white for the body of the car and pastel ivory for the bonnet and pillars and the grey and burgundy waistrail and grey fabric roof enhances this chromatic “Dolcevita” colour scheme.
The interior has retro details with the seats in ivory leather with burgundy seams, which match the central part of the dashboard and the dual-colour floor mats.
Standard features include a Dualogic automated transmission, leather gear knob and steering wheel with built-in commands, a 7-inch Uconnect touchscreen system with Bluetooth, USB and AUX IN ports, 7-inch TFT instrument display, automatic climate control, fog ights and rear parking sensors. It also has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The 60th Anniversary Fiat 500 special edition is on sale from $28,990.
