In this car review Simone looks at the all new 2017 Subaru Levorg GT-S. On the face of things the 2017 Levorg GT-S has a sporty design that stays true to what’s on the inside. It’s looks are European. The Levorg is bulky, but still harmonious. It packs a lot of the current WRX’s features, but Subaru says it provides a more civilized ride that makes it closer to the Liberty.
Under the hood is a 2 litre turbo engine that produces 197 kW of power and 350 Nm of torque and it is connected to a CVT automatic.
Engine Size: 2 Litre Turbo Petrol
Max. Power: 297kW @ 5600rpm
Max. Torque: 350Nm @ 5200rpm
Fuel Type: Petrol
Fuel Consumption: 8.7 L/100km
Just some of the standard features include EyeSight active safety system with brake and steering assist, active cruise control, rear-view camera, rear vehicle detection with blind-spot detection, lane-change assist, rear cross-traffic alert and more.
Subaru says their Levorg has the handling of a WRX, with the ride comfort of the Subaru Liberty. It’s all bundled together into a sports wagon with some very impressive safety features.
The 2017 Subaru Levorg GT-S is tough to beat especially when it comes to safety features, comfort and performance. Some similar category cars include the Volvo V60, Renault Megane wagon and Skoda Superb.
