For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Audi’s naming system, here’s what the SQ5 is. The 5 means that it is mid- to small-sized car; the Q means that it is an SUV and the S means that it is fast.
The ‘fast’ comes from a 3.0l V6 with 354 hp that pushes it to 60 mph in just 5.1 seconds. It comes paired with an 8-speed Tiptronic and quattro AWD system. If you opt for the S sport package, you also get rear differential with torque vectoring.
Moreover, the SQ5 debuts adaptive air suspension as an optional part of the S sport pack. It is up to 30 mm lower than the standard air suspension. The same system allows two levels of increased ground clearance for paths less civilized.
The interior and safety features are familiar from the Q5, but they are far from lacking in any respect. You get virtually everything that any other competitor in the class offers.
If you are looking for an SUV with sporty cred and loads of perks, the SQ5 will definitely be a viable choice.
