In this review, Jenny reviews the 2019 Kia Cerato Sedan Sport Plus. It’s a modern sedan packed with equipment, with a reliable, proven engine and automatic gearbox, all for a bit over 20k. It remains an excellent choice in Australia for a feasible small sedan.

The new Cerato is a good looking car that shouldn’t be too much of a surprise when we consider that Kia also gave us the Stinger and Pro_Cee’d.

It is a 2.0 litre Inline 4 unit which produces 112 kW at 6200 revs and 192 Nm of torque at 4000 revs.

In the top two trim levels the Cerato sedan engine is paired with an automatic gearbox exclusively, while the entry level version has it as an optional feature that adds about 1.5k to the price.
