Australia loves the Hilux! It’s highly capable, versatile and tough. And in this video, Simone tells you all about it.

For review, it’s the new 2018 Toyota Hilux in the top Rugged X trim.

Toyota did loads of market research, listened to loads of feedback, tested locally extensively and came up with the Rogue, Rugged and Rugged X versions of the Hilux.

There are three options in all, including a 2.7-litre petrol, 2.4-litre turbo diesel.

But for the Rugged X, the only option is a 2.8 l turbo diesel.

The Toyota Hilux remains the best seller but continues to face tough competition from other utes like the Ford Ranger, Nissan Navara, Holden Colorado, Mazda BT-50 and Isuzu D-Max. Be sure to watch our reviews on all of them.

n this review, Jenny checks out the latest 2018 Holden Colorado Z71 4×4 Ute. Probably a category Jenny had never considered before but the Holden Colorado impressed her enough to make her think that maybe she could own a ute.

In this car review video, Jenna reviews the Isuzu D-Max 4×4 Crew Cab LS-M. Freshly introduced for 2017 it’s the latest edition of this D-MAX generation and probably the last one since it’s been around since 2012.

In this video, Jenny checks out 2018 Ford Ranger FX4 Special Edition.

Last year the Ranger was the second most sold vehicle in Australia. The Ford Ranger looks rugged, macho and reliable. But it’s looks are well complemented by its capability.
