Amelia reviews the latest 2022 Kia Cerato Hatch in the Sport+ trim. The Kia Cerato is available in an S, Sport, Sport+, and GT trim.

The lower trim Cerato engine option produces 112 kW and 192 Nm. The Cerato GT comes with a 1.6 L turbo with 150 kW and 265 Nm. Not only is the amount of torque higher, but you get to use it almost all the time as all of it is available from 1500 to 4500 revs.

In terms of safety, the two lower trims do benefit from an additional safety pack that is available, while this one and the GT above are pretty packed as standard.

Compared to the pre-facelift model, there isn’t that much difference, although nip tucks come in some great areas, virtually making the latest Cerato more polished than before.
