The EX30 is Volvo's smallest and most affordable EV, built on the Geely SEA platform shared with the Smart #1 and Zeekr X. Two variants in Australia: a 480 km Single Motor and a 3.6-second Twin Motor Performance.
The lineup runs from Single Motor Extended Range at $59,990 plus on-roads, through to Twin Motor Performance at $69,990 plus on-roads. Warranty cover sits at 5 years, unlimited km.

Reasons to wait
- 153 kW DC peak is mid-pack against 250 kW capable Ioniq 5 and EV3. Rear-seat space is tight for the badge at the price.
- You need a faster DC charge (Ioniq 5 and EV3 are sharper), more rear-seat space, or a cheaper entry into a small electric SUV (BYD Atto 3, MG 4).
- The single-screen cabin removes the driver display entirely. Spend time with the centralised speed and ADAS read-out before committing.
- Top trim climbs to $69,990 plus on-roads.
