What is it?
The J12 is the third generation of Nissan's small SUV, sold in Australia since late 2023. Two powertrains: a 1.3L turbo petrol four with 12V mild hybrid, and e-Power series hybrid on the flagship Ti-L where electric motors drive the wheels and the petrol engine only generates electricity. FWD only, 504 L boot, 5-star ANCAP.
The lineup runs from ST 1.3T MHEV at $36,665 drive-away, through to Ti-L e-Power at $54,365 drive-away. Warranty cover sits at 5 years, unlimited km.
Interior and Technology
504 L boot is among the largest in the small SUV class. e-Power drives like an EV without the charging routine. Dual 12.3-inch screens and head-up display on upper grades, with 5-star ANCAP and intersection AEB.
No all-wheel drive option in the Australian range. 5-year warranty trails Kia at 7 and MG at 10. Only wired Android Auto, while wireless CarPlay is standard.
