What is it?
The XUV700 is Mahindra's first serious push at the Australian large SUV market, landing in 2024 as a three-row, seven-seat SUV. 2.0L mStallion turbo petrol making 149 kW and 380 Nm, with FWD or AWD across three grades.
The lineup runs from AX7 FWD at $39,990 drive-away, through to AX7L AWD at $46,490 drive-away. Warranty cover sits at 7 years, 150,000 km.

- You want a hybrid drivetrain (Outlander PHEV or Sorento HEV), an established dealer network, or known residual values.
- Mahindra's dealer network and parts supply are newer than established brands. Residuals are unproven, the resale story is not yet established.
- Top trim climbs to $46,490 drive-away.
