2026 Launch  ·  Australia

Bentley Continental GT

The third-generation Continental GT moves to a single powertrain: a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 plus 140 kW e-motor and 25.9 kWh battery, for 575 kW and 1,000 Nm combined. Both Coupe and Convertible (GTC) are sold in Australia, with the GTC adding a seven-layer Z-folding roof that drops in 19 seconds at up to 50 km/h. The chassis introduces dual-valve adaptive dampers, twin-chamber air springs and rear-wheel steering as standard. The outgoing W12 Mulliner final edition has closed for AU allocations.

The lineup runs from Continental GT Speed at $501,300 plus on-roads, through to Continental GTC Speed at $551,000 plus on-roads. Warranty cover sits at 3 years, unlimited km.

Interior and Technology

575 kW combined and 3.2 seconds to 100 km/h is faster than the W12 ever was. Around 80 km of pure EV range covers daily commuting in silence. Twin-chamber air springs and rear-wheel steering standard on Speed. Z-folding roof on the GTC drops in 19 seconds at up to 50 km/h. Bentley Mulliner is the most bespoke GT money can buy.

W12 Mulliner allocations have closed, run-out cars are speculative. $501,300 plus on-roads is the starting list, options can add $100k easily. Kerb weight climbs to over 2,450 kg with the battery and motor. 3-year factory warranty is short compared to mainstream luxury rivals.

Should you buy the Continental GT?

Reasons to buy

  • 575 kW combined and 3.2 seconds to 100 km/h is faster than the W12 ever was.
  • Warranty: 3 years, unlimited km. Paid extensions available.
  • 358 L boot, segment-competitive cargo space.

Reasons to wait

  • W12 Mulliner allocations have closed, run-out cars are speculative. $501,300 plus on-roads is the starting list, options can add $100k easily. Kerb weight climbs to over 2,450 kg with the battery and motor. 3-year factory warranty is short compared to mainstream luxury rivals.
  • You want a naturally aspirated V12 (Ferrari Roma or Rolls-Royce Spectre), a longer warranty, or you can no longer source a W12 Mulliner run-out car through AU allocations (now closed).
  • Spend time in the Mulliner configurator before signing. Confirm allocation timing with the dealer. PHEV charging at home needs an appropriate AC wallbox to realise the 80 km EV range claim daily.
  • Top trim climbs to $551,000 plus on-roads.
