Simone reviews the latest 2019 Volvo XC40 T4 Inscription

After our earlier review of the XC40 T5 in the entry-level Momentum, Volvo told us that Australia would get new T4 Momentum FWD, T4 Inscription AWD, and T5 R-Design AWD and here they are.

The XC40 featured in this video is a T4 with 140 kW of power and 300 Nm of torque. It’s paired with an 8-speed Geartronic which transfers the power to all four wheels.

The XC40 in this setup reaches 100 in 8.5 seconds and tops out at 210 km/h.- engine

There is another option – a T5 in the R-Design trim. It has 185 kW and 350 Nm and it’s noticeably faster, reaching 100 in just 6.4 seconds.

Volvo’s all-new subcompact SUV has already proven a very popular choice.
