JEEP is bringing its Compass back to Australia with an all-new, four-model range, starting with the Sport variant at $28,850.

The entry Sport has a standard 4×2 configuration and a 129kW 2.4-litre Tigershark petrol engine, paired with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
Other features include 17-inch alloy wheels, reversing camera, seven airbags, a leather-rimmed steering wheel, a 3.5-inch instrument cluster display, electric park brake, 5-inch Uconnect touchscreen radio with voice command and Bluetooth phone and audio streaming.
Plus a 6-speaker audio system with digital radio (DAB+).
Specs improve from model to model, with the top-ranking Trailhawk adding the exclusive Rock mode to its Selec-Terrain control system so drivers can tackle the toughest driving conditions.
Its 2.0-litre diesel engine is paired with the nine-speed automatic transmission, and has off-road suspension, raised ride height, hill descent control, four underbody skid plates and an 8.4-inch touchscreen display with satellite navigation and Apple CarPlay / Android.
