MAZDA’s all-new CX-8 diesel, a three-row seven-seat SUV, is scheduled to arrive in Australia later this year, slotting in between the current CX-5 and CX-9.

It will be powered by a 2.2-litre ‘Skyactiv-D’ engine, and Mazda says it will provide a smooth drive, strong performance and excellent fuel economy.

It will be a bit shorter and narrower than a CX-9 to make for better manoeuvrability while offering growing families the flexibility of a comfortable seven seat option.

It will come loaded with Mazda’s i-Activsense technologies, feature the latest in safety equipment and its quality interior finishes are said to give the cabin ‘a sense of refinement and elegance.’
